Karen Irvine, LPC, NCC Owner & Psychotherapist

As a Nationally Board Certified (NCC) Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), I am passionate about creating an open and curious environment for teenagers, adults, and children seeking therapeutic support.

Reaching out to a therapist requires vulnerability and bravery. I promise to reciprocate with respect and kindness.

I meet clients at my office in downtown Decatur or virtually throughout the states of Georgia and Florida.

Therapeutic Approach

My approach to therapy is person-centered and developmental, honoring the unique challenges associated with different stages of life and differing abilities. I value both the body and the mind as complementary sources of self-knowledge and wisdom. I emphasize the importance of emotional and relational intelligence in building resilience, cultivating meaning, and engaging life’s challenges with confidence.
